Jacqui Mair’s collaged still lives are inspired by the objects, antiques, flowers and plants she encounters and collects at the flea markets and brocantes in the South France where she splits her time between her home there and Portsmouth. Fully immersed in French country living the rustic pots and jugs and local wild flowers joyfully depicted in cut, patterned and textures paper are imbued with personal memory of place and people.
